Water snake eats weird fish from behind - in Ontario - Crazy!

Interestingly, the snake started feeding on the fish from behind. As for the round goby, it is an invasive species in North America and is native to the Black and Caspian seas in central Eurasia.

▶ Northern water snake (Nerodia sipedon) feasting on what appears to be a male round goby (Neogobius melanostomus) on Beausoleil Island in Georgian Bay Islands National Park, Ontario. There are also rattlesnakes there.
